Living in South Yorkshire
Flanked by the Peak District and Pennines to the west and Lincolnshire to the south east, South Yorkshire is the smallest of Yorkshire’s four counties. This largely urban region is home to a number of bustling cities, and their surrounding towns and suburbs make for excellent, accessible places to live.
The largest city in the area is Sheffield. Home to a tram system, two major universities, several theatres and its own arena, this vibrant metropolis has something for everyone. Lying between here and Rotherham is one of the biggest shopping centres in the UK - Meadowhall – which will satisfy all your retail needs. Separated by swathes of pleasant countryside are Barnsley to the north and Doncaster to the northeast. With so much going on, our new homes in South Yorkshire are well worth your consideration.
Excellently served by air, rail and road; the M1 cuts its way between Sheffield and Rotherham and on to Barnsley, while the M18 forks off to serve Doncaster, providing access to its airport and our Dominion development. This superb infrastructure helps make our new build homes in South Yorkshire an even more attractive prospect.
