There’s no denying that the people of Yorkshire are proud of their history and heritage, and Cleckheaton is no exception! The event features a variety of performers, workshops as well as street entertainment and markets.
Transport
Cleckheaton features a bus station in its town centre, with regular services running through to Bradford Interchange. Although the town has two disused railway stations - Cleckheaton Central and Cleckheaton Spen - the nearest railway stations are only short car journeys away, and can be found in Brighouse and Oakenshaw. Cleckheaton is also located within easy distance of major road networks, meaning it couldn’t be simpler getting from point A to B. The Chain Bar roundabout is just minutes away by car, and links up with the M62. A short journey down the M62 will see you in cities such as Wakefield, whilst junction 27 will take you onto the M621 to Leeds. The M606 runs straight through to Bradford, whilst the A58 road runs through to Halifax, meaning the major towns and cities nearby couldn’t be simpler to get to.
