Say hello to Claire, our Planning Director.

Claire has been with us since the beginning of 2019 and what a journey it has been. Claire is responsible for managing and overseeing all planning matters for our new and upcoming developments to ensure they move through the planning process as seamlessly as possible, allowing us to bring you our newest collection of homes in your dream locations quicker!

Everyday is different for Claire, some days you will find her outside of the local town hall after proposing our new sites to the council or maybe in our Strata Head Office managing the teams and overseeing our proposed developments.

It is no secret that Claire (along with the rest of the Strata family!) is super passionate about her job and the difference that she makes to Strata and our local communities. Each individual here at Strata plays a huge role in creating and shaping our next collection of homes, homes that will last for generations to come…we think that is something pretty special.

There’s a learning curve to letting go.

I like being in the detail,
I like knowing everything,
I like going above and beyond.
This is who I am,
it runs right through me:
straight down the middle…
and that makes it difficult to step back.

But when you care this much,
you can't keep it to yourself.
You need to open the door.

I've built a team I trust,
they feel the same way I do,
they’re invested,
can argue our points
and align our partners honestly,
with realistic goals.

It's been my joy
to see them grow
and trust them with what I hold dear.
With that trust
comes space to organise,
to plan for growth,
ensure our relationships stay strong,
and the message
stays the same.

You need to know the detail
to understand the bigger picture;
but if you don’t let go
your hands will never be free
to make something of it.
