Living in Leicestershire
The county of Leicestershire lies at the centre of England. From busy cities to thriving market towns and open countryside, this area has something for everyone, giving it great appeal for someone looking for a new home.
At the centre of the county is Leicester. Not huge, but with a population of around 330,000 there’s enough to support a vibrant city centre, with all the theatre, bars, restaurants and retail you could want from a major UK city.
Recently Leicester has experienced something of a renaissance; Richard III’s remains were famously found beneath a car park in the city, and the local team shocked the world by winning the Premier League in 2016. You could get in on the action with our new homes in Leicestershire.
In the surrounding area you’ll also find the leafy university town of Loughborough, while foodies will love the quaint market town of Melton Mowbray, which is famous for its pork pies and stilton cheese. All are serviced by major railway lines, and the M1 cuts through the middle of the county.
You’ll find plenty of new build homes in Leicestershire, such as our Opulence development in Leicester’s pleasant southern suburbs.
