Preston is surrounded by country parks, perfect for weekend dog walks and days out with the family. On the south shore of the estuary you’ll find Far Ings Nature Reserve and Water’s Edge Country Park. Both feature well laid out nature trails for wandering whilst you look out for resident and migrant birds, as well as bees, butterflies and dragonflies in the summer. Far Ings provides hides for keen bird spotters, and Water’s Edge has a large Visitors’ Centre with an outdoor play area and the chance for little ones to feed the ducks, or you can relax with a drink or a snack and enjoy the spectacular views over the estuary from its Honey Pot Café. 
 

Three minutes from home you’ll find Woodland Primary School, teaching pupils from 5-11 years old. Woodland Primary is a relatively new school, opening its doors in 2016, and now teaches around 200 children. 
For children aged 11-16 years, Malet Lambert Secondary School is just six minutes away. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, the school was recognised for supporting its children in learning and progression. 
 

Planet Gym is just 12 minutes from the development, and offers state of the art equipment, personal trainers and a range of classes and membership options, making it easy to keep fit and active. 

Ganstead Park Golf Club is just 10 minutes away. The easy walking 18 hole parkland course is perfect for individual and society games, and is renowned as one of the most appealing courses in the East Riding of Yorkshire. If you’re travelling by car, the M62 is less than half an hour away and Hull city centre only around ten minutes from Dream, making it easy to commute or visit local amenities and attractions.
