We must never underestimate the emotional connection that we all feel to our home. Josephine's Strata Story

It started with Instagram –
an ad for a site we hadn’t heard of,
a house we didn’t expect,
a trail of lives
other people had shared.

So, I share back.

The place we’ve transformed,
the little details that
make the difference –
light through the windows,
greenery all around,
the wow of love at first sight.

When we walk in,
I want us to leave our stresses behind,
step into a soothing place
that looks good
and feels safe;
where we have space
to live and work,
and dream,
side-by-side;
separate and together;
comfortable
and calm.

We’re not in a rush
to get everything done.
It’s a journey:
find the right thing
in the right place,
at our own pace.

Without the ad,
we would have crossed
a different threshold;
friends we made,
we wouldn’t have met.
We’d live somewhere else,
somewhere that wasn’t home.
