Introducing James, one of our talented Quality Managers within our Production department. 

James has been part of Strata since 2017 and has been looking after our customers ever since. Originally, James started his Strata Story within our Customer Care department and devoted all his time to helping our customers settle into their new homes and making sure that their homes are absolutely perfect. 

After years of going that extra mile for our customers and the endless list of glowing five star Trustpilot reviews, it was time for James to take the next steps in his career to Quality Manager.

James spends his days out on site co ordinating contractors and meticulously inspecting each and every customer's home to make sure they are absolutely flawless and of the highest quality before the keys are officially handed over to our customers on that exciting moving day. 

Here is what James had to say about his role 

'Over the years dealing with all sorts of customer issues in care helped me realize that I can do more than just fix problems, but prevent them earlier in build, so I took that step towards helping us deliver a better product for our customers.'


When you build a house,
the little details
can make the biggest difference:
a join that doesn’t meet,
a slip in the plaster,
missed paintwork.

People will see this house,
call it home.
I want it to be right,
to make it real for them
so they walk in and find only happiness.
That’s what I do this for:
to be part of the moment it becomes theirs.

You must trust – but verify:
take the time,
make the checks.
Fix a problem before it becomes one,
get everyone to embrace shared values.
You need to tell someone
when they’ve done it wrong;
but it’s more important to tell them
when they’ve done it right.

I’m learning every day.
I don’t know it all by any means,
but I know what ’good’ looks like
and I want to be good at this.
