About Epitome

Epitome is a collection of 91 two, four and five bedroom homes in the Snowhill area of Wakefield. Emerging in its own right alongside more established suburbs such as Wrenthorpe and Outwood, Snowhill is growing in popularity and amenities, making it an increasingly desirable place to live, within very easy reach of one of the north’s most exciting cities.

A journey into the city centre can take as little as 10 minutes by car, and local transport links to other areas are excellent too, including easy access to both the M1 and M62.

"Snowhill has a great sense of community - and the location is great! It’s the perfect spot for commuting – it has fantastic links to Leeds, Wakefield and more, which is great for work and future career opportunities." Ben Smith, Epitome

Being so close to Wakefield, you’re never far from everything you could need, but there is also plenty to see and do moments from home.

The nearest post office is in Wrenthorpe 0.8 miles away, where you’ll also find a local park with tennis courts, a bowling green, children's playground, football pitch and a path connecting it to neighbouring Alverthorpe Meadows and Wrenthorpe Park.

Considered a green oasis not far from the centre of Wakefield, Alverthorpe Meadows and Wrenthorpe Park is a local nature reserve that’s great for walking and cycling. There’s also a kids’ playground and meadows for wildlife spotting. There are also several ponds there, with boardwalks so you can enjoy a family day out spotting creatures.

Eating out is also easy when you live at Epitome. Locally, you’ll find Italian food at Capri @The Vine, traditional British pub food at Brewers’ Fayre and Indian cuisine from Kashmiri Aroma all within half a mile of home. UP AND COMING

Snowhill is a small suburb of Wakefield, 1.4 miles from the city centre. Over the past few years, it has become a thriving residential area with a growing population and new shops and services adding to the amenities on the doorstep all the time. Several developments around Snowhill have meant new roads, retail parks and places to eat and drink have appeared in the area.

Wakefield is close to home and is fast becoming one of the north’s most important business hubs. A multi-million pound regeneration project is underway, bringing exciting new investment to the city. The first phases of the Merchant Gate residential, office and leisure development have been completed, and there’s also the new Trinity Walk shopping centre to enjoy.

There's also plenty to look forward to in the area surrounding the development, too, as the eagerly-anticipated Snowhill Retail Park is due to open later in 2017. Here you'll find Aldi and Iceland supermarkets – and best of all it's only a few minutes down the road.
