The Movement
Everyone says moving house is stressful. We don't believe that has to be the case. We have made it our mission to ensure that every home buyer has an amazing experience. It should be the most exciting times of your life, so we have designed all our processes around that Ethos.
Everyone says moving house is stressful. We don't believe that has to be the case.  It should be the most exciting times of your life, so we have designed all our processes around that Ethos.

We understand that when you hear the term 'part exchange', you might think that means you're not going to get the true value for your home.

So, let's get things straight, we do not do part exchange to make money on your home. The purpose of part exchange is to enable you to buy your new home without the stress of a chain.
We always offer a fair price on our part exchange scheme, and if we are able to sell your home for more, we will give you money.

Part Exchange FAQs
How do you ensure the valuation is fair?
3 independent valuations from three different people. We will then base our offer around these valuations.
Why 12 weeks?
Our average selling time for a part exchange property is 8 weeks, so we felt that 12 weeks gave every property the chance of selling for the best price.
Why would you give me money if it sells for more?
Because we are confident that our original offers on all part exchange properties are fair. But occasionally we do achieve a higher selling price than the independent estate agents expected, and if this does happen, we’d like to share that benefit with you.
Why split the difference?
Because that means we are in it together, and if the property sells for a higher price, everyone wins.
How will I know what you’ve sold my property for?
We will let you know when it has sold, and whether or not we achieved above or below the agreed price. You can then see the selling price online via the Land Registry.
If it sells for more, when will I get the money?
You’ll receive your share of the money within 14 days of the sale completing.
What if my property sells for less than you offered me?
This won’t change our offer to you, and you can rest in the knowledge you got the best possible price for your property.
Is this available on all homes?
This is available on selected homes that are ready for you to move into before the end of March 2020. Visit your nearest show homes and find out more.
Where’s the catch?
There isn’t one! We genuinely believe in giving everyone the best possible price for their property and the least stressful moving experience. That’s it.
How do you choose the independent valuers?
We will select three estate agents from the area in which your property is, to ensure they know the local area and the market best.
How can you give me seven days to move?
Once all the monies have been transferred and we have officially bought your current home, we can provide a legal document called ‘Right to reside’ that allows you access to property for seven days after the sale is complete. After the seven days, you will then hand over the keys to the local estate agent and then we’ll handle it from there.
Who decides on the marketing price and the agreed sale price of the property?
Once you part exchange your current home, we then own the property. We will use the independent valuation report to inform our list price when we put it on the market. Ultimately, we do need to sell the property within the first 12 weeks, so if we are receiving no interest then we will reduce the price gradually. However, we really do want to achieve the best possible price for the property, so would only reduce the price if we felt there was truly the need.
