Saturday Edit 14 March

This week, we wanted to let you know that our brand new Barcelona show home is now open at our Kudos development in Leeds. It is our very first show home of this home and we are so excited to see what you think.

The Barcelona

We love Scandinavian design and this influence flows through everything we do. Large windows, high ceilings and clean lines in the finer details create a feeling of space and light. Interior design is our passion, our aim is to create a calming, welcoming space for our customers to enjoy.

Lloyd's vision

“The ground floor was designed to keep entertaining and relaxing spaces separated. The kitchen/dining provides the perfect space for hosting dinner parties and family occasions, whilst the living space allows for relaxation, following either a busy day out at work; or for those chilled Sunday afternoons.”

Angelica's Style Tips
"Mixing materials such as organic woods, matt blacks & open weaved rattan will make a space feel relaxed & also soften any black accents. Organic woods & stripped timbers look amazing against chalky black hues."

Barcelona Style Tips

Create a bolder Scandi inspired look by adding a touch of black. Muted black accents are back & make a confident design statement with minimal effort. Infuse this with earthy tones & different types of materials to add a subtle Nordic edge.

The layered look is big this year and can be easily achieved by using mixed materials. Using layers will help your interior design scheme feel considered & stylish. Narrow shelving is the perfect platform to dress with different texture & heights to make a design scheme interesting. The beauty with this is that you can change the look frequently by simply reorganising the accessories.

Creating a look of perfection is a trend that has disappeared, think more laid back, functional & lived in. Traditional dining is also a statement of the past too. To create the look in any dining space, the feel must have a grab & share vibe to really conquered a relaxed & inviting feel. Lower tables and bench seating can create this look instantly.

To finish the look, hanging planters are a necessity. Using the space, we often forget about, the ceiling can take a design scheme to the next level. Breaking the eyeline will make any space feel more dynamic. The addition of natural plant greens will add energy into any room and create the finishing touch.
