Would you skydive 15,000ft for charity? That’s exactly what 16 of our fearless employees, stakeholders and suppliers did for our Charity of the Year, Danielle’s Flutterbyes.
The brave team took to the skies above Hibalstow Airfield for an adrenaline-filled day, a mixture of nerves and excitement as they ascended ready for the dive.
But the nerves and worries floated away as one by one the team took the exhilarating leap of faith and there smiles and tears of joy all round as everyone took in what they had just achieved.
Allan Napper, Production Manager at Strata described his experience: “The first 10 seconds you can’t breathe, you’re just gasping, but it’s amazing, the feeling is just… second to none!”
Anjudeep Badachha, Business Analyst at Strata, was on a high from start to finish: “Loads of adrenaline was coursing through me, I felt like I could take on the world!”
The courageous team raised an amazing £8,420 for Danielle’s Flutterbyes, which will go towards helping young people suffering with kidney disease to have once in a lifetime experiences of their own, as well as helping to improve their quality of life throughout their treatement.
