It’s taken a few days for our dancing feet to recover from the biggest event in our charity calendar! But we’d like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to our staff, supply chain, friends and family who came to the Charity Summer Ball.

Around 750 guests gathered at New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds for a great night of food and entertainment to help raise money for our Charity of the Year, Little Hiccups.

We've counted up the final total for the amount raised on the night … and we can’t quite believe it!

Together, we raised a staggering £57,166.37. This means so far this year we’ve raised more than £70,000 for Little Hiccups - and we still have five months of fundraising left to go!

We couldn’t have done it without you all and so we’d like to thank everyone who attended and gave so generously to this fantastic cause. Little Hiccups is a Yorkshire support group helping more than 200 families across the region who have a child with disabilities or special needs.

Co-founder Linsay Medica, spoke eloquently to the crowd about how important the funds will be to help Little Hiccups deliver more services and support to families. “These children inspire me every time I see them,” she said “and so do their parents.”

The night included a charity auction – with prizes such as VIP tickets to see Justin Bieber at The O2 arena and a signed Muhammad Ali boxing glove. The auction alone helped to raise £15,000.

The evening finished with music from the excellent Bogus Brothers.

Here are just some of the highlights from the night.

Don't forget there's still time to show your support for this amazing cause. There are plenty more charity events happening over the next few months - take a look at our calendar to find out more.
