The Strata Charity Summer Ball

This year, we welcomed the Strata family, our suppliers, customers and the team at B:friend to our annual charity ball which was held at the New Dock Hall in Leeds. 

The Summer Ball is just one of the many events that we hold throughout the year to raise money and spread awareness for our chosen charity of the year, B:friend. 

B:friend is a Yorkshire and Derbyshire based charity who aim to help end loneliness within the elderly community through pairing befrienders with local neighbours, holding engaging activity groups and creating once in a lifetime opportunities for the elderly. 

We made sure to dust off our best dancing shoes, wear our most glamorous outfits and reflect on all of the amazing adventures and milestones that we have achieved with B:friend so far. We have faced our fears and jumped from planes, flown down the fastest zipline in Europe, zoomed around winding Go-Kart tracks, recorded a Christmas hit…and that is just to name a few! After a year of pushing ourselves to new limits and fears, it was time for us to show everyone how Strata throw a party!

We spent the evening reflecting on the amazing work that B:friend do for the community before taking part in a live auction to win some incredible prizes before finishing the night with a jam-packed dance floor. 

We are delighted to share that together; the Strata ball raised an incredible £60,000 for charity. The night truly reinforced our belief that people and the community are at the heart of everything that we do here at Strata.
